Solvent refining:The lubricating oil raw material distilled under reduced pressure only has a certain viscosity.To become a lubricating oil,it is necessary to remove the components with poor viscosity-temperature properties and poor antioxidant properties(mainly the removal of polycyclic short side chains).Heavy aromatics and colloids)are removed.
Clay refining:After the lubricating oil raw materials have been solvent refined and solvent dewaxed,trace amounts of solvent may remain in the oil,and there are also small amounts of colloids and non-hydrocarbon compounds in the oil.Most of these substances are polar substances.Their presence not only darkens the color of the oil and corrodes the machine,but also reduces the anti-oxidation stability of the oil,so they must be removed.
Residual oil deasphalting processing:After the oil is fractionated under vacuum,there are still some hydrocarbons with large molecular weight and high boiling point that cannot be vaporized and fractionated and remain in the vacuum residual oil.This part of hydrocarbons is a valuable raw material for producing high-viscosity lubricating oil.In addition to these high molecular weight hydrocarbons,residual oil also contains a large amount of colloids and asphaltenes.Therefore,in order to obtain this part of high-viscosity lubricating oil raw materials,they must be separated from colloids and asphaltenes.
The last step is the lubricating oil blending step.After the lubricating oil raw materials undergo solvent refining,solvent dewaxing and supplementary refining,the base oil is obtained.After these base oils are blended(mixed)evenly with certain additives,the finished lubricating oil is obtained.
